After winning his ninth Grammy earlier this year and being honored by President Obama with the National Medal of Arts in 2013, “trumpet legend” Herb Alpert has release a new album entitled ‘In The Mood’. The new album sees Alpert playing a diverse array of standards and originals, including covers of The Everly Brothers and a reinterpretation of “America The Beautiful.” Accompanying the album release is an extensive American tour with his wife, singer Lani Hall, who joins Alpert on five songs on the album.
