Michael Connelly’s most notable characters include LAPD detective Harry Bosch and defense attorney Mickey Haller. Detective Bosch is the lead character in the procedural series that, to date, spans across seventeen novels, the most recent being “The Black Box.”

Two of Connelly’s thrillers have been adapted to the silver screen. First was 2002’s “Blood Work” directed by and starring Clint Eastwood and more recently was 2011’s “The Lincoln Lawyer,” which starred Matthew McConaughey as Mickey Haller. His books have been translated into 39 languages and over 45 million copies of his books have been sold worldwide.
