Michael Hiebert’s debut literary suspense novel, “Dream with Little Angels”, is an honest and engaging coming-of-age novel reminiscent of Harper Lee’s classic, “To Kill a Mockingbird”. This story, which takes place in Alabama, brings the question to mind: in any small town, can any child be safe?

Award-winning novelist and short story writer Michael Hiebert often weaves narratives of mystery and fantasy into his work. His work was published in The Best American Mystery Stories edited by Joyce Carol Oates and he was given the Surrey International Writer’s conference Storyteller’s Award for two consecutive years.
