On The Strip Radio Network (OSN) proudly presents Heart: 30th Anniversary, a two-hour radio special commemorating the anniversary of the release of the Heart’s debut album, “Dreamboat Annie.”
The first hour of the radio special focuses on their most recent release, “Dreamboat Annie Live,” a concert performance of their landmark debut album, complete with covers of Pink Floyd, The Who, and Led Zeppelin songs that influenced the making of the album. The program also features interviews and songs from “Hope & Glory,” the first-ever solo album by Heart vocalist Ann Wilson. Rounding out the program are newly recorded interviews with the Wilson sisters, along with never-before-heard archival interviews dating back as far as 1976.
To honor our commitment to create programming that truly addresses the needs of radio in the 21st century, OSN is making available a second bonus hour, Heart’s Salute to Led Zeppelin and Classic Rock. Led Zeppelin songs have been a staple of Heart shows from their earliest tours, and both the new Heart album and Ann Wilson’s solo album feature versions of classic Zep songs. This second hour can be used on your stations’ terrestrial broadcast with the first hour of the show, on your HD radio multicast channel(s), or for broadcast on the web via your station website.
Both segments are hosted by Carol Miller, the legendary New York radio personality known for her years at WPLJ and WNEW. Carol is an inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and currently hosts the evening slot at the nation’s number one classic rock radio station, Q104 (WAXQ) in New York. Miller has hosted dozens of national and international radio shows as well as TV appearances on Entertainment Tonight and VH-1, among others.
