The only official radio program produced with the cooperation of Broadway Books (a division of Random House), this two-hour radio special supports the release of Eric Clapton’s official autobiography, Clapton, and the first ever career retrospective CD from Reprise/Warner Bros., “Clapton Complete.”

Recognized as the most accomplished and influential guitarist in the history of rock, Eric Clapton is a sixteen-time Grammy Award winner and the only triple inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (as a member of both The Yardbirds and Cream, and as a solo artist).  This special spans Clapton’s musical career, as well as his personal life.

Featuring in-depth interviews, rare recordings, and music spanning Clapton’s career from the Yardbirds, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, Derek & the Dominos, to his storied solo career and to the historic Cream reunion shows to the monumental Crossroads Guitar Festivals, this radio retrospective will be a unique and intimate reflective look at this living rock legend.
